I’m taking a creative writing workshop this semester and we’ve had a few unique assignments. It’s been fun to explore different writing styles and bounce around new ideas whether it be for character development, place, scene, or simply a warm up for your brain. I’ve learned that stories don’t always have to be pages long – or even a paragraph long (right now we’re working on 6 word memoirs!) This post is a short story I wrote using only song titles. Hopefully it will help other struggling creative writers think outside the box and try something new. So look through your itunes and create a plot with some of your favorite songs. Feel free to share them with me via a comment : ) Have fun!
